


As recent as February, 2008, Doxa helped support a survey and teaching trip to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. A small group of four people supported the efforts of a single Christian woman who for over 13 years has been caring for the needs of orphans and children who are hungry, destitute, and otherwise would not have had any hope of physical or spiritual life. Roberta (aka Mom to 21 kids) is the guardian for 21 children ages 1 month to 20 years. Additionally, she feeds 85+ kids twice a day, five days a week in her garage. This "nutrition program" is what keeps these children from living in starvation conditions and she is able to use this time to teach them of the love of Christ in a most direct way. In November, 2006, the Doxa Foundation supported a research trip to Catacamas, Honduras to visit with the leaders and children of the Por Los Niños Children's Home - an effort that is fully overseen by Family Life Missions. The mission of this effort is threefold:
