Seed Company

The Doxa Foundation is a supporting member of the Seed Company whose ultimate goal and mission is to get the Bible translated into all known languages and dialects. In 2006, Doxa made a commitment to sponsor the translation of the Bible into a Somolian dialect. Even though that translation effort continues, it has not been without difficulty. Since the indigenous language group is almost entirely Muslim, the translation team has been under extreme pressure and often in danger. They have had to remove themselves from some of the more direct people-facing areas to continue their work. However, their target completion date remains 2009 and it is our hope that at some point the seeds of the fruit of their labor will germinate through the Power of God and the Gospel of Christ will shine forth in a spiritually dark land.
